Over two consecutive days, we provide comprehensive training to make you a competent powerboat driver. This course not only lays the groundwork for the International Certificate of Competence but also emphasizes responsible and professional boat handling.
From advanced boat handling techniques to high and low-speed maneuvering, securing to a buoy, anchoring, leaving and coming alongside, and essential man overboard procedures, our course covers it all.
The theory component delves into topics such as different craft and engine types, maintenance best practices, weather forecasting, GPS usage, and the International Rules for the Prevention of Collisions at Sea. Develop the expertise required to navigate confidently and responsibly.

International Certificate for Operators of Pleasure Craft (ICC) under 10 meter
​
To obtain the International Boat License (ICC) you must prove your competence at driving a boat. If you have attended a qualifying RYA practical training course you can simply send a copy of your certificate with your ICC application form. Alternatively, you can take a direct assessment at a RYA recognised training centre such as Boatability but the most common route to achieving the ICC is by attending a RYA
Powerboat Level 2 course.
An International Certificate for Operators of Pleasure Craft (ICC) is required by most countries in Europe and elsewhere. The certificate, valid for 5 years, is free to qualifying members* (£50 to non-members).
